Summary
Foreword by Mr Thomlinson, FRHistS, Head of History at KEGS
On the Tragedy of Bedford BogIt is with great academic reluctance, that I take up the pen to reflect upon the regrettable incident at Bedford Bog. The events that transpired there were not merely the result of circumstance but the slow aggregation of neglect, administrative hubris, and a poor grasp of pa- *snore* This job can be painful at time. Historical analysis provides a crystal clear perspective on our faults and it can be difficult, to take ownership of your mistakes.
Yes the bog. It began, innocently enough, with a field trip. A time-honoured educational tradition designed to break the spirit of the more rebellious Year 10s. In there, Kingshuk - who styled himself Heathcliff in a move both literary and deeply concerning - became a figure of myth, a martyr, and terrifying charisma.
I have drawn several diagrams on the whiteboar- *snore* - ey were wiped clean by the PE department, who needed to revise for a sit up-based assessment. A tragedy in its own right. And so we must remember, as all historians must, that when power is left unexamined, and children unheard, even the most civilised of communities may find itself.. *snore*

Summary
“In some ways, I think that Jack was Ralph’s favourite. Jack was almost an alter-ego to Ralph—he was the shadow to Ralph’s light. He was the sour to the sweet and the cool to the warm. They often walked together, more often than not arguing.
I could remember many times when Ralph emerged from an argument with Jack positively furious—shaking his head wildly, snorting and clicking his teeth, red-faced with exasperation—and he would tell me what they had been fighting about—still agitated—but, inevitably, he would end up staring into space and sighing—smiling. I think that if someone were to say that Jack had once been good for Ralph they would not be mistaken.”

Summary
It’s been five years since the day Ralph fled from Jacks tribe. He’s learned to hide, scavenge, and avoid the other boys at all costs… or at least, what’s remaining of them.
It’d be a lie to say he wasn’t surprised when Jack returns to his one-man tribe seeking sanctuary. Ralph knows he’ll regret it, but he’s always fought to be Jacks friend.***
A heavily revised version of my first fanfic, Ataraxia. Rectified has improved grammar/spelling, heavier adult themes and more content. (Fuck you *unwholesomes your fanfiction*)

Summary
It was without warning when Jack nosed his way back into Ralph's life. Maybe Ralph was just bored, or maybe he was lonely... perhaps he just craved the change. Regardless, he let's Jack back in- and finds that he doesn't regret it.
Or,
Jack's a character straight out of a Mark Twain book and this doesn't bother Ralph as much as he thought it would.

Summary
Jack is now sixteen on the verge of seventeen, and although he claims he isn't, is still battling the traumas with having been stranded on an island and effectively creating a totalitarian society at his very own, heavy hand.
To combat his experiences, his parents decided that it 'would be best' to send him away to a stay-away / rehabilitation camp on an Island off the coast off Britain, claiming that it would be beneficial for him to 'relive' his experiences.
In other words, Jack goes to a rehabilitation camp and ends up seeing, and being stuck with the very person at the source of all his 'traumas.'

Summary
"But still, he watched. Tommy was close, close enough to reach if Spencer had the nerve, close enough that the quiet he radiated seemed to creep through the trees, settling around them like a fog. It was a gentleness that didn’t make sense out here, yet Tommy held it, unwavering, like it was as natural to him as breathing. Spencer’s fingers curled, his hand flexing with restless energy, caught between his desire to pull Tommy into his own world and his need to keep Tommy far enough away he wouldn’t destroy that strange calm Tommy carried."
OR
A LOTF au in which Spencer knows he is different from Tommy, in almost unfathomable ways. And yet, he feels strangely drawn to him, even if everything is telling him to stay away...

One problem... he had to share with Jack Merridew...

"Ever since they’d returned from the island, Trevor and Shayne had developed unspoken routines. Friday night movie nights, Saturday morning eggs on toast. Shayne cooks dinner and Trevor helps clean. Trevor chooses the movie and Shayne chooses snacks. Little things, that returned them to something that felt the way normal was supposed to feel."
or
