“Because she’s special.” Princess sang as she walked past them with an armful of gauzes. Trinity shot her a look while Robby huffed, a playful smile tugging at his lips.

That word stuck with Trinity more than it should. Yolanda treated her differently than everyone else. It didn’t take a genius in the ED to notice how the surgeon would blatantly jab another resident for even the slightest mistake but then turn around and give Trinity the benefit of doubt over something way worse.

This was inspired by a TikTok I saw from @dollux_rl idk if someone has already written this exact idea; I didn't look.
A maybe realistic version of what would happen if Robby and Dennis were in a romantic relationship, set barely a year post-season one. Dennis lost his job, was blacklisted from programs across the country, and had to move back home to work on the farm. Robby's life continues unchanged, but Dennis's life was ruined, and everyone hates Robby for it. Will Robby get fired by the new residency director? Will Robby quit? Will Dennis come back or will he be stuck working on the farm forever? Who knows? I do; you don't. Find out if you want, or don't 🤷♀️
