Shuichi Saihara used to live in Fujisawa. Until the boy got involved in a violent fight, ending up putting a mafia leader in a coma. The school was said to be problematic, and that's why Saihara got involved with the most powerful student in the school. However, his uncle was extremely disappointed. And decided to move to Tokyo when they got an invitation from Hope's Peak Academy. As the school took notice of the young boy and his detective skills. His uncle took this as a perfect chance to restart his reputation, and all the blame was pointed at Saihara. His uncle was clearly not satisfied with Saihara beating up a mafia leader who assaulted multiple girls at his school. So here he was now. Standing in front of Hope's Peak Academy. His anxiety was creeping upon him, as he would join a class filled with "Ultimate" students who already knew each other like the back of their palm. He didn't even know how he got selected as the ultimate detective. As the invitation just seemed to come right on time, as he needed to switch schools. But now, it was time for Saihara to begin a new life, in a school filled with gifted juveniles. Oh boy, this was gonna be hard, he thought.

Suddenly, Monokuma popped up in the room, both paws over his face as he giggled eerily. Kokichi glared at him and Shuichi clung to the former tighter, sobbing even harder now. "Congratulations, Luminary! You managed to find two infected at the same time!"
