Distraught, her only chance to correct this error and get into Heaven is the Hazbin Hotel. Soon, she finds herself drawn to the patron of the place, the dangerous yet charming Radio Demon. When Alastor proposes the idea of a pretend relationship to make Vox jealous, Willow seizes the opportunity and suggests a deal: She will play her part for as long as he protects her from any harm.

Rosie makes Alastor go to the dentist against his will, in his weakened post-battle state, promising cannibal treats and a fancy night out at the opera if he complies. The Vees find out and Vox, eager to see Alastor in pain, decides to spend the rest of the day spying on Alastor's appointment, getting a little too perversely excited to see the unruly patient bound and gagged with a dental dam getting various humiliating if not torturous procedures...

After moving in permanently to The Hazbin Hotel after the last extermination, Lucifer starts seriously looking into the vulnerabilities of the Hotel, and one such problem for the Hotel appeared to be it's Hotelier himself. Lucifer needs to know how Alastor ticks, before something goes wrong. Unfortunately for the man's sake, nobody knows How Alastor ticks, not even Alastor himself. Lucifer sets the two down the rabbit hole. Looks like they'll have to figure out the hard way, on the job, together.

Two years have passed since the events of For Her Sake. Things have been going well for Charlie and Alastor. However, one day the Radio Demon is reminded that he isn't a free man. His lies to his master caught up with him and now he has to answer. Alastor was given one more month, one month to destroy the hotel, one month to stop Charlie from redeeming a soul or face the consequences.
Alastor can't follow through, he refuses to give what his master wants. Charlie matters too much to him to do that. Alastor tries to find a way out, shutting Charlie out in the process and lying to her about what's wrong. Charlie though, is determined to get the Radio Demon to open up to her. Yet Alastor continues to lead her around, after all, it's better for her not to know who owns his soul anyway...
