They deserved the world, Lord Mydei and Lord Phainon and while Castorice couldn’t give them that, she vowed they’d stay happy for the rest of their lives. Because that’s what good friends do.

Era Nova- the real Era Nova was finally upon Amphoreus. No longer was the Black Tide a looming threat over everyone's heads, the Chrysos Heirs were once again ruling over Okhema, but this time with a bit more leniency. Their flaws no longer hold them back, and they can do the things they want to do.
Now, how about we redirect our attention to a certain prince of Castrum Kremnos and a country boy turned Emanator and see how they're holding up, shall we?

“That being said, however–” he shifted his attention to Khaslana– “the walk to the Grove is not an easy one, and given the state you're in, it's not safe for you either.”
“I agree,” said Dan Heng, stepping up beside Khaslana. Raising a brow, he continued, “If I remember Hyacine’s words correctly, didn’t she say your metabolism was running low, and you shouldn’t be walking long distances without supervision? Or at least have something to eat on hand, in case your energy dips and you get lightheaded halfway through?”
Those sharp teal eyes bore deep into his dull blue ones, and Khaslana found himself shying away from his gaze, the tips of his ears growing warm. Sometimes he tended to forget the Vidyadhara helped out at the Courtyard, and he had a record of almost every patient entrusted to him by Hyacine herself. Plus, he was currently staying with them for a week and a half while the Express was away on an emergency run.
One and a half weeks. And Dan Heng had only arrived two days ago. Khaslana couldn't shake off the nervous energy in him.

Summary
Looking back, Phainon wondered what had been running through his mind when he insisted he could handle the situation on his own. Sure, he could have dealt with the Titankin with ease (after all, he had been the one guarding Okhema long before Mydei had ever set foot in the city), but fighting alone felt foreign to him now. He’d been fighting alongside his comrades for much longer; his brain was wired to move in tandem with their moves, not by himself.
The Titankin weren’t even in a large group to merit a huge cause for concern either. Waiting for Mydei was the better option, but nope! He had charged straight into the battle without a care in the world. If he hadn’t been there to pull him out of his predicament…he would’ve been….he would’ve…
Aeons, he was such an idiot.
Or, Phainon gets injured during battle and is stuck at home. Luckily he has company in the form of one Khaslana

Summary
They arrived at the bridge and, sure enough there was Dan Heng and Caelus training, the former using his water dragons to combat the latter’s wide range of weaponry. Phainon could see the sparks flying as Caelus’ flaming lance clashed with Dan Heng’s spear, and could hear the laughter that erupted from the grey-haired man.
He felt something twist his heart painfully at the sound.
Cyrene had rushed forward, waving her hand and calling out their names. Phainon closed his eyes, exhaled slowly, then summoned his signature smile. He broke into a jog, masking the turmoil churning within him. Things had been rough; no one needed to witness his despondency.
And no one needed to know how broken his heart was at the loss of everything- everyone he cared about and cherished were gone, and in their place stood the Titans they now embodied. To slay them again with Dawnmaker would be a cruel fate indeed. That was something he could never bring himself to do. To kill his former comrades…
Hah, fate really was cruel.
or Phainon tries to move on from the Okhema incident. Until the ghosts of the past come back.
