“Buck will probably be hovering,” is what Chris does volunteer.
It still surprises her when the man who opens the door is not Eddie. It’s—Captain America, is the thing that actually comes to mind—a man close to a foot taller than she is, if not more than that, with blond curls and broad shoulders, and he’s got a question in his very blue eyes that’s probably less friendly than the one he actually asks her.
“Uh,” he says. “Can I help you?”

Summary
“Buck,” he says softly. “He told me I had to be brave and that you would find me. And he said everything was going to be okay. He lied!” Chris yells the last part and Eddie's heart breaks.
Eddie pulls his son into his lap and scents him. He breathes in his pup's sorrowful scent and wants to wail. His son is so young to lose so many people. He buries his nose into Chris’s unruly hair again and breathes deeply and feels a flare in his chest. Buck scented him before letting him go. He can smell Buck on his son. Even in his desperation to get Chris to safety, he had thought to offer his son comfort, even offering his own shirt.
Eddie's alpha howls. Mate, mate, mate. Buck isn't his, he reminds himself again, but it doesn't seem to matter. All he wants is to have Buck in his arms.
A tsunami fic with omegaverse where Eddie finds Chris before he finds Buck and Buck is not doing too hot.

“I’ll be right back,” Eddie says, as his eyes snap to something over Buck’s shoulder. “Stay here with Chris.”
Eddie presses a firm kiss to Buck's lips before ducking off into the crowd, and Buck watches him go with a dazed look on his face.
“You guys are kissing now?” Chris asks curiously. “I didn’t think he’d told you yet.”
That drags Buck back to reality.
“Huh?” he says. “Told me what?”
Chris raises an eyebrow. “Dad’s told you how he feels, right?”
“It’s just been the kissing actually,” Buck admits, still a little out of it. “I don’t think he’s fully aware he’s doing it?”

Summary
When a twelve year old child is brought into the Pitt beaten within an inch of her life, it becomes a desperate attempt to locate the parents of the child, only to learn from the child that he’s in fact a trans child who goes by Dennis, they learn that his parents sent him to a conversion camp because of his “condition” and that he’s no longer welcome in their home nor do they care what happens to the child anymore. Jack and Michael decide to foster then adopt the boy.

Dennis sucks in a breath. "I don't - I don't understand why, though."
"Why?" Robby repeats. "Because you're in a tough spot, and we can help."

In 1991, twenty three year old Jack Abbot meets Thea Montgomery, a twenty one year old Preschool teacher. He was fresh off his first tour in the Army, already enlisted to return to active duty within the next month or two, and Thea had only been a teacher for a year. There were so many things he could fall in love with about her; her brain, the cute birthmark over her eyebrow, the way her honey colored eyes shined with mirth. They never fell in love, though, there wasn’t enough time. They started their relationship hot and heavy, but that passion fizzled out just as quickly as Jack’s month was nearing to an end. Jack and Thea had a nice goodbye, Thea promising to wait for him if he wanted. He never held it to her, though, and when he got back three years later, down a leg and part of his sanity, he was glad she lied. Thea wasn’t waiting for him when he got back; he never saw her again.
In 2019, Jack Abbot is now in a happy relationship with his best friend, Michael Robinavitch, and feels like his personal life is finally in a stable place. His life gets flipped on it’s head when a twenty seven year old man with the same birthmark as Thea shows up in the Pitt with some surprising news.
