Loosely based off one of my favourite works by Scioneeris, “ There Be Dragons, Harry.”
This concept grew in my head until I felt I had to write it. I will greatly deviate from the original story with plot and characters to create something new and wild, but I loved the world building and social hierarchy that was created.
So if you haven’t read that work yet, I strongly considered it, but it’s not necessary to understand this story.
Concept: What if Harry’s soulscream was blocked? What if, when he needed his soulbonds the most, all he was met with is silence?
His cries went out into the void and had no reply. How will he survive when he has claw his way out of Death’s grip alone?
A much more dangerous, wrathful dragon will emerge out of the abyss.

Cue harry potter centric fix-it fic that was made entirely to make me happy, and maybe some others. But it's mostly self indulgent. Throughout this story, Harry will learn to trust and depend on people- become more than The-Boy-Who-Lived, and the others around him will heal from their own issues and gripes with this world, knitting into some fucked up, messily stitched, family quilt. But those stitches will end up stronger than steel and those people will rival titanium together. I hope you enjoy this story about healing, finding family, fixing fate, the power of friendship and family (as corny as it is) and Death and Destiny finding ways to bring a smile to even the most mentally (and physically) scarred. (Especially those with lightning bolt scars)

Draco Malfoy, unwittingly searching through the dungeons for him, even though he wants to just drink his hot chocolate, and mind his own fucking business- thank you very much, Pans- stumbles onto Harry in the kitchens.
As to what Harry is doing... now, that will shock Draco.
