He wants Arthur to lean in. He wants to taste that soft voice as much as he wants to tell him honestly how he feels with a kiss on the lips. He feels his breath still in his chest as Arthur smiles wide, lines growing around his eyes as they squint shut and he moves to hide his grin behind his palm like he always does. He wants Arthur to move closer, to press against that grin with one of his own exactly how it should be. Parker can barely breathe, but forces himself to keep moving. If he has to watch Arthur smile like that, he feels as if he's going to be knocked dead.

A few notes: Kissing is fun. It’s a fine way to pass the time. The romance novels he’s read make it sound much more exciting than it actually is. John doesn’t remember the names of any of his back alley escapades; some he’d never known to begin with.
