Midoriya Izuku was not made to be special. Not in any particular form, shape, size or function, it seemed. He didn’t need grandiose, didn’t need all the fame and fortune and riches that seemed so commonplace these days. He didn’t need to be all-powerful, all-knowing, a genius, or well known. And Izuku didn’t want to be greedy, or anything, but he would’ve liked to be special. Just a little bit. Not in a particularly self-absorbed way, but he would’ve liked just a little bit of the special that seemed to surround his peers on the daily. Just about everyone around him had so much special while he had… basically nothing. Maybe a couple hundred years ago, back when quirks weren’t a thing, he would have stood out in a crowd with his green curls, been special and unique for once in his life.
Knowing his luck, though, he probably would’ve ended up burned at the stake for witchcraft instead. That’s how they used to do it, back in the day, he’s pretty sure. With gingers. Green isn’t red but Izuku’s pretty sure it’s different enough to get him set on fire, back in the day.

The internship process is changed around. Instead of the usual week long Internships, students will spend 2 months interning under a Hero, with many more permissions than ordinary interns. Izuku receives an offer from the Number 7 hero, Miruko. This changes everything. Learning how to be more bold, learning to be more true to who he is, means every interaction from this point on changes.
But the delay has led to some people gaining courage where they otherwise would be scorned. Enter a world where villains aren't just roadblocks in the story. Where they are threats, true and real, and every fight is one for survival. A world where 1-A makes an effort to soar just as far as Izuku, not content to fall behind.
Izuku meets with Himiko Toga, just the first of the Lives he's changed. And in turn, she changes his life. Helps him realize some things. Namely, that He, may actually be a She.

Vigilantism is defined as illegal and/or unlicensed quirk use with the intentional goal of rounding up, attacking, or otherwise apprehending criminals or otherwise in a manner emulating the tasks of heroes in an offensive or dangerous manner.
Izuku reread the definition a few times.
It wasn't as though Izuku had never heard of vigilantes. He even had notes on a few interesting ones. He knew illegal quirk use was probably a big factor in it being, well, illegal. He just hadn't realized quirk use was what made somebody a vigilante. It was sort of odd. He expected the definition to be more… inclusive, he supposed. What if somebody just didn't use their quirk? It couldn't apply to mutations unless they had emitter or transformation qualities, right? It couldn't apply to-
It couldn't apply to him.
He couldn't be a vigilante.
They couldn't arrest him for being one.
Or:
Midoriya Izuku ends up becoming a vigilante. Featuring Eraserdad, a very tired Tsukauchi, and Mic being the sanest adult here.

Summary
It isn't like Red Son dislikes MK. He does like him, it's just always gets too awkward when they are alone, without Mei around. It doesn't matter how they tried, the air was just more thick when they were alone.
Noodle Boy liked the moon, no, he loved the moon, he would blurt about the celestial body and it's beauty. Sometimes it even bothered him, the way MK could talk about it like it was the only thing in the world for him. Although, Red Son sometimes wondered if there's an other meaning behind Noodle Boy's obssesion over the moon.
Besides that, why was he feeling slightly jealous because of a celestial body?

when one is pushed down all their life, the logical course of action would be to give up. And Izuku was so god damn close to doing so. But he didn't. For better or worse (worse, a lot might say, and Izuku might even agree, thought he could never quite bring himself to regret it) his life changed.
So, Izuku looked back to all the people who told him he was useless, to the fate that seemed to agree that he would never be a hero.
