Summary
It's optimistic to say that things always work out in the end.
But it's really too cynical to claim there are no happy endings.
Realistically, whether an ending is happy or not depends entirely on where the audience departs from the story.
The heroes defeat the villains, a good ending, a victorious one.
The heroes return from battle, their family, their dearest friends are dead. A hollow ending, one of gut wrenching sorrow.
It's years later, people have healed. Found new family, new friends, created new traditions to honor those lost. A bitter sweet ending, composed of both joy and grief, but ultimately satisfying.
It all depends on when the audience leaves, because that is when the story ends.
And more than that, how the audience thinks it ought to end.

Summary
They could have stayed hidden, could've remained nothing more than an unknown force.
Of course, there were benefits to being known.
But really, they were oh so tired of secrets.
Technically, it was the villains that learned of their presence first. Of course, those villains that they actually revealed themselves to died too quickly for it to matter.
So the heroes learned of their presence first.
The Comission, U.A.
And eventually the public came to know them as vigilantes, for what else could they be? They were brutal and terrifying and efficient and hid their identities with an almost concerning level of thorough ferocity.
And oh, they were so, so very tired of secrets.
So eventually, they revealed themselves and told their tale with the air of people who didn't expect to be heard or believed but were speaking anyways simply because they had no other choice.
They shared the twisted horror of the future they had come from, the future they had prevented with such ruthlessness, cruelty almost.
And to their great surprise, they weren't entirely disbelieved.
“Did you just send us back in TIME!?”
“It was an accident?”

Summary
It starts with Yamada Hizashi, better known as pro-hero Present Mic, being sent to the USJ by Principal Nedzu of UA to remind Aizawa Shouta, class 1-A’s homeroom teacher and pro-hero Earserhead, that just because he ended up having to drive the bus that brought them off campus, and therefore will also have to drive them back, doesn’t mean he can train the students several hours after school has ended.
It ends with Present Mic opening the doors to the USJ to see the bodies of his friends and his students scattered across the USJ in broken piles of blood and gore.
About a decade later, a student whose quirk allows them to interact with ghosts passes the UA entrance exam and enters the hero course.

Summary
It is incredibly disorienting to wake up with no memories of the past yet possess whispered knowledge of the future.
The magic burning through their veins and bleeding into their mind and body and the very world around them does not help things in the slightest. In fact, it probably makes the whole thing worse.
But it's also what has kept them alive, so they'll deal with it, just like everyone else.
And then take far too long to realize that nothing about their situation is normal, common, or even remotely heard of while the people that find a place in their life watch in bafflement intertwined with amusement and concern.

Summary
It had started back when Harry was 8, and his aunt, tired of the school calling in and asking about Harry's over-large, ripped shirts and pants, had thrown a sewing kit at his chest and told him to to fix his clothing himself.
Then he finds a magazine titled "Punks Not Dead" on the street. Entranced and intrigued by it, he hides it in his backpack to read during breaktime, when he can be in the school's library without Dudley haunting him. Inspired by the pages within, Harry finds himself in alleyways and close to bars, picking up loose soda tabs and forgotten scraps of fabric and safety pins.
By the time he's 10, he spends more time outside and in school than anywhere close to the Dursely's home. It is then he finds a community of his own; a rag-tag group of teenagers living in a nearby LGTBQ+ shelter who are all too happy to take their youngest, and newest member under their collective wing.
The wizarding world is unprepared for the ball of raging anger and soda tab chains that is 11-year-old Harry Potter. Cynical, unafraid to get into fights, and smarter than people take him for, he's not the boy the wizarding world wants him to be.
Told from the perspective of one of the teenagers.

He sure as hell never planned for the number one hero to pass on his quirk to him, and die shortly after.Years later, six years to be precise, he’s a vigilante on the streets of Mutsutafu. His take down of All For One is no secret, and his presence as the vigilante Omen is adored. He loves his fanbase, but he doesn’t appreciate the constant pursuit of the media for new pictures and flimsy stories.
So, when a certain sleep-deprived hero approaches him about a teaching gig, with little-to-no restrictions he’s quite hasty to reply. UA wants anything Izuku is willing to provide for their third years…
Wait. Their third years? Like Izuku’s age third years? Class 3A?
Oh shit. He’s totally in.
Or, Izuku being the Number One Hero to the public, but a vigilante in actuality and people knowing virtually nothing about him. So, UA offers him a job to teach 3A, and also try and get the teen to have a support system and not go it alone because life at the top is lonely.

Summary
Ever noticed how Po and the Five are already besties by the start of Kung Fu Panda 2? I always loved that fact because it offered a new dynamic from the first movie and showed the passage of time. But what happened during that passage?
When Tigress was young, she experienced many changes in her life. Going to live with Shifu, the Furious Five moving in, gradually collecting more and more family in a way that was not… completely uncomfortable and terrifying. Somehow this change was the biggest though. It shouldn’t be, not compared to moving into a palace and going from the only person in the barracks to one of five. But somehow, just one Panda moving in was all it took to turn the Jade Palace on it’s head… in a way that Tigress had to admit… was not entirely a bad thing.
(Now if only she could just tell him how sorry she was)
