—Yo… ahm…—Su mano temblorosa buscó la de Diluc, aferrándose como si eso pudiera detener que el mundo se tambaleara. Pero la sensación de opresión en su pecho aumentó.
Su garganta se cerraba. Podía sentirlo. Podía escuchar el sonido horrible de su propia respiración, un jadeo desesperado que apenas lograba arrastrar oxígeno a sus pulmones. Su visión se volvió borrosa, el ruido de las voces a su alrededor disminuyó hasta ser un zumbido distante.
El aire simplemente dejó de entrar.
Kaeya abrió la boca, intentando inhalar, pero no hubo nada. Su pecho subía y bajaba inútilmente mientras sus manos buscaban apoyo en cualquier lugar que pudieran alcanzar. Un miedo primitivo lo atravesó, rápido y agudo como una estocada.

Kaeya nunca pensó que un allanamiento de morada pudiera irse tan al sur. Ha tenido misiones malas antes, claro, pero no al punto de acabar con una cuchara clavada en el ojo y un viejo escarbando en su cuenca como si intentara sacar hasta el último rastro de helado del fondo del vaso.
Supone que debería haber anticipado que las cosas se complicarían; después de todo, cuando Diluc aparece, la dificultad de las misiones tiende a escalar con él.

Kaeya llevaba mas de un mes en coma, los caballeros tocaban su puerta cada día reclamando el cuerpo de su capitán. ¿Pero como podía Diluc confiar algo tan valioso a personas tan ineficientes?.

Nadie le quitará a Kaeya, pelearia contra cada caballero en la ciudad si eso significaba que Kaeya estuviera sano y seguro en su hogar.
