He has truly gone too far this time... and Diluc knows it. He has kept a horrifying, shameful secret in his closet for some time and the young master grows uneasy from the apparent distrust and concern of his attendants each passing day. Especially when he seems uncharacteristically complacent with the sudden disappearance of the Cavalry Captain and stranger yet refuses to leave the sanctum of his winery.
Then, on the fourth day, what he covets in the depths of his chambers tries to break out.
Diluc fastens his gloves in response and tightens his grasp on his newfound treasure.
The Cavalry Captain isn't missing.
He lives right here, where he belongs...
... in the cosy little nest Diluc has made for them to spend the remainder of their days until heaven and the Abyss do them part.

Summary
When Kaeya vanishes without a word, Diluc’s search begins as a matter of concern but quickly becomes something else.
Across Teyvat, he keeps finding letters addressed to him, unsent and left behind like breadcrumbs.
Each one pulls him further along the trail and deeper into everything they’ve never said aloud.Or: Kaeya makes Diluc find random letters in very random ways across Teyvat which creeps Diluc out a bit but it's basically them finally solving their issues in a weird way because they're both a bit emotionally unavailable
