Fit is missing for 2 weeks and comes back different. Not like those federation copies, no. Something else. He's just... not acting right. "Do you think we know each other in every universe?” Fit asks suddenly, twisting his head to meet Pac’s gaze.
He chuckles self-consciously right after he says it, his dimples peeking out in a stupidly endearing way. Pac has the immediate urge to smooth them out with a kiss.
Baby steps, he reminds himself for the hundredth time, baby steps. There’ll be time for that when Fit is ready.

There's a moment of petulant silence as Tubbo frowns at him and Fit glares back with a finely honed I'm-not-mad-I'm-just-disappointed face. Finally, Tubbo sullenly drops his gaze.
