These events set in motion create a life line for the Archipelago itself.

Summary
Kate used to have no clue to where she was going. Now she is running towards the storms that took everything from her and gave her life a purpose.
Tyler has made it his life’s work to chase thrills, running towards anything just to feel everything, except now his heart is outside his chest and it runs into danger without a second thought. He doesn’t think the answer is in rodeo dates and tornados this time, at least not entirely.
It’s been over a year since El Reno, and Kate has secured a transfer to Norman, OK, and back to storm chasing. After finally reeling herself from a diabolical lease, and getting her credits transferred. Tyler is happy to help Kate change the world as long as he stands beside her. All while trying to keep his head above after the horrors of the outbreak, and keep him and his team alive.

Maddy and Rhydian are now faced with the fact that they are no longer cubs, instead they are wolfbloods on the cusp of adulthood, which opens door to a much larger world than Stoneybridge. Shannon and Tom try and find their own identities away from the secret. Jana tries to learn more about her new place in life and her future. And what role does Segolia play in all this?
This story uses more mature methods in exploration of canon themes, and is subject to change in rating, and this is technically a modern AU because I found myself unable to use early to mid 2010's tech in writing. Also these are teenagers! I did stupid things and so will they. As this is a alternate S4 and S5 there will be OC's!

“It’s an element, right? I know elements! There’s… oxygen! We love oxygen. And water. H2O, yes. And, why are we even talking about science?” Hinata takes a deep breath. “Tobio is not a stupid crush!”
Kei raises an eyebrow. He knows he’s being set up for another word vomit about Kageyama, and in truth, he does not want to listen for more. But funnily enough, Kei finds himself doing what he had previously said he wouldn’t—indulging Hinata. And so, he replies.
“Really now?”

When a badly burnt body wearing Iruka's dog tags is found just inside Fire Country's borders, Tsunade demands answers. Kakashi's tags are a heavy weight against Iruka's chest as he tells her about the relationship they've kept hidden for years, the one he'll have to start referring to in the past tense.
It isn't until he gets home that he notices something engraved on the charred metal of his tags: a coded, one-word message meant just for him. It's the only clue he has, not much to go on, but that won't stop him from doing everything he can to bring Kakashi safely home.
