Shane has built walls around his heart that are too thick to tear down—at least, that’s what he tells himself. He’s just fine being alone, tending to his chickens and drowning his demons in beer. But when a bright, relentless farmer moves to Pelican Town and somehow sees him, Shane’s carefully constructed walls start to crack. He doesn’t want her to get too close. He doesn’t want to be saved. He doesn’t want anything from her.
But she doesn’t give up on him.
And now, as his heart begins to betray him, Shane has to decide if he’ll keep running from the thing that could save him—or let her follow him into the dark.

---------------------------“So, what exactly are you looking for here?” Shane asks him, voice echoing off the tile walls of the men's locker room. “Did you just want a repeat of Wednesday, or did you have something else in mind?”
Sam gawks for a second, before he finds his voice again. The first time was some weird… encounter that he had stumbled into. This time, though, they actually scheduled it.
"I, um... I guess I want a repeat of Wednesday,” he says, rubbing at the back of his neck. “Or something similar to it. Maybe... you could be meaner?”
Or, the one where Sam runs his mouth and it earns him the best fucking of his life.

Lately, though, there's been something... off with Sam. Sebastian doesn't like the road that all the signs are pointing to.

This is a retelling of my first fic, "Fuck me like you hate me, praise me like you love me." now told from Sebastian's point of view.
