Gansey is having a rough day, Ronan does his best to help.
"Gansey could always feel the bad days coming before they actually arrived. The day before he’d feel restless, brittle, he’d pick a fight with Ronan. Ronan knew how he got, he’d snap back but there’d be no real heat behind his words. The morning of he’d wake up feeling even worse. Every social interaction left him on the verge of tears. Everything hurt just a bit more. If he missed one more problem in math than normal he was a failure, he didn’t deserve to be there, he could never find Glendower. He was fine though."

“Dick, look at me,” the voice growled.
Everything screeched to a halt. Something slammed hard against Dick’s back as he opened his eyes, breath punching out of his lungs.

He means to turn away after that, let Batman leave his apartment on his own without so much as a word, but when his arm begins to lift, Dick can’t help but watch.
Watch as Batman pulls back the cowl. Watch as Bruce’s face is revealed, grey and sunken and wrong, all wrong, sickly without the flush of fever. His eyes are like fogged glass- he’s reminded, viscerally, of the fresh fish Alfred would have in the kitchen, right before preparing them for dinner.
(Dick has hallucinations. He should probably tell someone.)
