Enjin thinks it’s not that bad. At least they have dental insurance.

Summary
Rudo had an unfortunate night of no sleep due to the overwhelming thoughts of his past experiences. He laid in his bed, staring at the ceiling, willing himself to wake up to Regto telling him to get up. That never happens, instead getting jolted from his bed as the staff wielder slammed open his door. This mission was going to be a pain in his ass.
Especially when he sees a familiar face in the crowd of strangers.

Summary
So… Enjin knows himself, and he knows he is not someone suited to dealing with children. Piercing cries, overwhelming tantrums, and the strange language they seem to speak all confuse him, wear down his patience, and -at worst- make him feel useless and out of place. And yet, through a series of unforeseen incidents, he ends up becoming the babysitter of the youngest member of the Akuta team.
OR; Rudo turns into a four-year-old child.

Summary
There was a fuzzy feeling in Rudo's chest. Maybe he would finally get some good sleep for the first time in what seemed like forever. In the dark, his half-lidded eyes looked at Zanka's profile. The windows beside the bed let in enough light for him to see the rough edges of his brow, the tip of his nose, and his slightly parted mouth. His breathing was low and even; the inhale and exhale of another person calmed him down. He wanted to do this again…
Zanka takes one for the team and sacrifices his sleep schedule to guilt-trip Rudo into going to bed early. The only issue is that it doesn't do anything.

Zanka smiles— lax, warm, appreciative in a quiet way that Rudo wants to mimic so bad. The corner of his lips twitch.
Whenever Rudo smiles, it is not effortless. It does not come natural, not the way Zanka's smiles seem to be. Maybe with time, with effort, they will be.

Summary
Zanka always held his head high, when on the battlefield- he was regarded with strength and logical analysis that Rudo wished to one day achieve.
When relaxing in the cleaners headquarters, Zanka seemed just as uptight- strung tightly as if one wrong move would have him kicked out to the poisoned lands of No-Mans land.
But, as Rudo’s stay at headquarters became longer and longer, he noticed the small reprieves Zanka gave himself. The days he would relax his shoulders, reluctantly ask for help, and seemingly crowd around his pack.
Rudo had never been in a proper pack. As much as he loved Regto, he wouldn’t call what they had an actual pack. Enjin and Riyo had said they already think of him as part of their pack- but it was ultimately up to Zanka to bring him in.
He was just waiting for that.

Pfft, that's hilarious. "Wow, and here I thought you were cool." Rudo mocks, because an amused voice is about as close to laughing as he's ever been able to get.- or - Regto gets taken by the apostles, causing Rudo to be left all alone at 8 and eventually thrown in the pit at 10 instead of 15. This changes nothing and everything.

Not even the proper tools—a knife, scissors, anything really, would have helped—to mutilate himself and this vicious, life-sucking, love hungry plague that they cursed him with.
He would not stop, not for himself, not even for Regto.
“Please, Rudo—why are you doing this? You need to stop—”
Rudo had to do it.
Regto’s begging would not dissuade him.

It was the only way he knew that would lull the pain to sleep.

Summary
Rudo and Regto are banished to the pits when he is only ten years old after they are framed for murder. They land in a garbage field of poison air, trash beasts, and a future scraped together from whatever they can salvage.
Every item is important to Rudo. Nothing was trash to him. He'd repurpose it all if he could help it. How was he supposed to know that the items seemed to care about him, too?
Or.. Regto does everything he can for Rudo on the ground even if it means risking it all when they join the Cleaners.

Summary
Fighting trash beasts is dangerous, being a Cleaner, let alone being a Giver, is also dangerous. Then again, anything about the ground is dangerous. But that never stopped Enjin from genuinely falling in love. With a man nonetheless. He’d always suspected himself to be bisexual but with a woman preference.
Something about Gris just made Enjin want to explode, in a good way. Although it was a bit rocky, here the two are, considered the “old men yaoi” of the Cleaners even though they both aren’t even that old. It’s sort of endearing to be supported in such a way though.
It’s when Rudo enters the picture that things get interesting. Enjin and Gris only hid their relationship in their beginning stages, but now that they’ve been together for who knows how long? They don’t hide anything. But then Rudo goes and looks at them weirdly. Enjin can’t help but get amusement from that, is the kid homophobic? Definitely interesting coming from a spherite.
Gris, the cool headed of the two, simply suggests that maybe Rudo doesn’t know about certain things. So of course Enjin had to get to the bottom of it.
TLDR
Engris adopt Rudo, teach him things, and spoil him with sweets
