An absolutely devastating look at how the heart wants what the heart wants. Poor Rose gets out through the wringer, and Shane makes many many idiotic boy decisions in his dumb little noodle - Ilya gets raked over more than one set of emotional coals.
The Voyagers are good about everything so far, looks good for the big reveal. Very human and very angsty. Very very good.Reads as complete to chapter 16

Ilya tries to break it off and lasts all of the four seconds it takes for Shane to start crying before he winds that shit back like his life depends on it.
Incredibly hot make up sex.
This fic has EVERYTHING. Idiots in love, introspection, breaking plates and “leaving” your lover by performing the common ritual of literally picking plate shards out of his feet.
Luckily Shane confesses because Ilya is hell bent on being a dumbass. Folds like laundry though. Poor lad.
