Bullied every day at school for his villainous quirk, and when he goes home he finds no relief, his mom blames him for his fathers death and refuses to even look his way. He tries to navigate in this scary world where everyone is against him. Then one day everything changes. He gets into one little fight and mom gets scared, says to go to live with his uncle in Musutafu, Japan, far from his home in Shimane and anyone he ever cared about.

Summary
Midoriya died when he was 4 years old.
He went to bed as usual after being tucked in by his mother, and drifted off to sleep not long after. He then woke up as he was walking down a street, in a body that wasn’t his and seeing out of eyes that didn’t belong to him with no way of controlling his body. A villain stabbed him as he turned down an alley, quickly relieving him of anything valuable in his pockets and left him to bleed out.
Then it happened again the next night, a patient in a hospital coughing up their last breath as Midoriya was locked into their head, seeing what they saw, feeling their pain and hearing their thoughts.
It wasn’t long before the doctors figured out that the young boy’s quirk was to blame for the nightly deaths. It was named “optogram” after the old roman superstition, and Midoriya never got a restful night of sleep again.
And yet, despite the horrors that came with every night, Midoriya was determined to help as many people as he could and stepped forward to start the UA entrance exam.

Izuku was now fourteen years old, and was still living in the shie hassakai yakuza stronghold. He had been taken when he was only five and no heroes had ever came to save him. Izuku still loves heroes though. It doesn't matter that he hasn't been saved by any... or that he probably never will be. Izuku still loves heroes. Heroes are really the only thing he still had that connected to the outside world and the few memories Izuku had from before he was taken. If anything, his love for heroes was a coping mechanism for all the experiments and pain he had endured over the years.
Izuku was left to wonder how much longer he would have to wait to get out of the hellish life he was living. How much longer until he was finally… Free?

“Yea,” Hawks nods in agreement. “Where do you see yourself going, kiddo?”
The fourteen year old swallows, wiping his sweaty palms on his pants, and leans into the mic. His voice cracks. “Do…Do you want me to tell you what you want to hear or what I’m really going to do?”
The four heroes give him their undivided attention at that question, Nedzu looks up from his papers, Eraserhead looks up from his phone, eight pairs of eyes are on him and he shifts nervously.
“Well,” the winged hero sounds completely thrown by the question. “We’d like to hear what you’re really going to do.”
He leans into the mic again, void of anything and everything, and answers softly. “So, to answer your question, I plan on killing myself and don’t see a future for me.” The door to the auditorium opens, which signifies the ending of his session, so he bows. “Thank you for your time.”

The blue-haired boy pauses, studies his hand uncertainly before shrugging. “Shirakumo Oboro,” he introduces in return, hand phasing right through Izuku’s when he goes to return the handshake. Shirakumo doesn’t seem surprised by it, but Izuku whips his hand back when the intense chill climbs up his arm.
