It’s odd how a situation can so drastically shift in a matter of seconds. One moment he’s reaching toward a wailing child, attempting to console them, the next he’s tumbling to the ground, alone in an abandoned street, the sky black above him. After surveying his surroundings, he gets a general idea of where he is, as well as the realization that the child he’d just been with was nowhere to be found and had, most likely, accidentally used their quirk on him. Must be some kind of teleportation quirk too.

Summary
Tenko was a stark reminder to keep saving someone short and simple. Help them, yes, but once the police are involved, your job is done. Especially with children; spending too much time with children you’ve saved, growing attached, will only hurt both parties involved, in the end. Whenever Shouta rescued children, he made sure to be kind, but distant. He thought that he’d learned his lesson; was sure the message had gotten through.

Kaylee had never seen Professor Stilinski in jeans before. He always wore a crisp suit to class—which everyone agreed was a little overdressed, though nobody actually complained because he looked really, really good in it—and his face looked way different without his thick-rimmed glasses. Was he wearing contacts or something?
That wasn’t the point. The point was that hardass Professor Stilinski was wearing a graphic tee with plaid and hanging all over Professor Hale, who was most definitely married, and Kaylee had never been more confused in her entire life.
