When he was sixteen years old, Kento Nanami probably nearly died. Yu Haibara would have definitely died, but Kento Nanami was probably going to die, too. In fact, even after he was saved, he nearly died multiple times, which taught him the biggest lesson of his life: it will never not be dangerous to feel sympathy for a crazy person. Unfortunately, before he even fully has a chance to move past that, he is suddenly confronted via that same crazy person that he really, really does not like sorcerers, and it has nothing to do with them being crazy, and everything to do with them being cruel.
Or: Naoya Zenin is saddled with keeping his little sister with a technique that gives her a suicidal god complex under lock and key. This, of course, does not work, because he has negative interest in doing that. And he continues to have no interest in that, until tragedy strikes, and he realizes that suicidal god complex little sister is perhaps the only one that would call it a tragedy in a way he can hear.

Summary
Satoru Gojo is going to find Suguru if it kills him. And whoever stands in the way of that might have to die, too.
Unfortunately, the one that can find Suguru can also kill Satoru, and might actually do it if Satoru lets his voice go over a certain decibel. It's as awful for all parties as it sounds.
Or: Satoru Gojo has been having strange dreams, from an alternate version of the world where it all went to hell. Before, he let the situation lie. Suguru left, and that was his choice. This time, Satoru is not going to be letting that happen, and he think salvation may be found in the one Special Grade he knows exists that never seemed to feature in those dreams.
Unfortunately, that Special Grade curse user is a hell of a lot worse than the rumors gave him credit for. Satoru has dealt with all manners of OP teenagers with all of their own limitations and drawbacks, but he has never seen a more severe case than whatever the hell is going on here.
Or: Kanzou Miyamori was minding his own arboreal business when Satoru Gojo kicked in his door and dragged him into his gay soap opera. He would like out of the soap opera, please.

sensibleshroom is def my fav author on AO3, cause what do you mean every single one of this author's fics hit every time, and I get a small essay at the end of every chapter expanding on the situation.
There had been a few words exchanged during the fight earlier, along the lines of the actual audacity of Suguru fucking Kanzou within an inch of his life and then Kanzou waking up to find him waiting outside Satoru’s room like a dog, which Satoru had translated as he was awfully clingy, and therefore needed to wake up in the aftermath with someone, or he would feel bad.See? Satoru was understanding Kanzou-speech. You just had to get over the psychic damage first.

In his defense, Moko Inumaki was not specifically, nor intentionally, looking to grow up a union man. In fact, one could say he wasn't a union man at all. He just encouraged other people to unionize. And those other people happened to be teenage Special Grade Sorcerers who someone at HQ was probably attempting to kill using a borrowed knife, looking at their work load.
Or: Moko Inumaki was raised in a basement by a mother with a strange scar pattern on her forehead. Until she got pregnant, and in his distress at the possibility of replacement, he burned the whole house to the ground and tried to fix his defective technique himself. But, everything worked out. After being abandoned in a forest on fire, he was found and shown what kindness and endless compassion meant.
However, that doesn't mean he forgot the basement. So, when he saw a set of twins even smaller than he was in a cage, he kind of blacked out. Kidnapped them, herded the random Special Grade teenager that was there, for some reason, and accidentally, via wanting that Special Grade teen to get some sleep, may have sparked a strike. At a school he doesn't even attend.
He would love to say sorry, but lying is a sin. So. Not sorry.

They are definitely still somewhere in the Grand Line, more than halfway into the New World and all its nightmarish weather phenomenons- phenomena. Phenomeni? Whatever. Point is, there’s an island, with a small town, and a whole bunch of astounded eyes staring at the Polar Tang were she’s bobbing in the water at the end of their public dock. There’s even a newspaper, being clutched in Law’s hands, with a rather damning date printed at the top of the front page.
Getting sucked into an undersea whirlpool and spat back out thirty-odd years in the past is a new one for the Heart Pirates.

“Y-yes, Laoshi,” Luo Binghe says, staring up at him with starry eyes. Shen Yuan makes himself take his hand away, before someone sees. People could get the wrong idea. “I’ll be here!”
“Good,” Shen Yuan says. “Now, go off, you. Shoo!”
Luo Binghe nods obediently, then scampers off. Such a sweet child! Shen Yuan watches him go with satisfaction, then goes to his car to drive home, alone. Luo Binghe has to walk home on his own, since the person running his group home doesn’t have the time or willingness to drive him. It would be so easy and simple for Shen Yuan to drive Luo Binghe home himself, let the poor kid sit inside of a nice heated car instead of having to freeze on his way home and walk his thin soles even thinner - but no. He can’t.
He promised the principal that he’d stop.
