Its written quite simply but in a good sense, it reminds you of those rpg animes you find on tiktok with an artificial narration and just get stuck watching it cause its so stupidly interesting. That is to say that when a fraction of a fraction of the King slips into Avery's mind on New Year's Eve, Avery also wakes up a year prior with omnipotence, a world's worth of grief, and his best friend's real-life address burning in his head.
Along the way he picks up a baseball bat. It's a necessary provision for smashing Derek's laptop into a thousand pieces before he can so much as launch Minecraft.

Also I think its sad, cause you can barely see it, but Seb's trying to make the plan go forward. Looking over documents, meeting other people who he can resort to. My heart would break if the creator made a second part where the reader goes through all the hell of the chaos that is the blacksite in the now present, but it would be so interesting (heh.. we giving ideas.)
