They both jolted as a blaring noise went off. It was the alert for a mission. Weird, crime hasn’t been too high lately, but I guess it had to start again sometime. Jay closed his mouth and looked towards Kai, who had already stood up, and saw he was holding out his hand. Taking it, Kai heaved him up and Jay stood tall, ready to face whatever was coming. He only hoped it wasn't too much; a regular burglary would be enough for him.

He was sure Akutagawa was dead. So, needless to say, everything that went down at the airport was quite a shock to the poor boy. He didn’t even have time to process Akutagawa’s momentary stint in vampirism, because they were soon fighting against another powerful enemy, just the two of them, once again. It had now been a week since everything had finally ended, since the Decay of Angels was finally defeated, and Atsushi hadn’t seen or heard from Akutagawa once. That is, until Atsushi saw him casually walking down the street, as if nothing had happened. So, yeah. Atsushi was more than a little pissed off. He wasn’t entirely sure what he was mad about, specifically, but there was no mistaking the burning sensation he felt in his chest the moment he locked eyes with the man who had literally died for him.
I don't really know how long this is gonna be or what it's even really gonna be about, but I've been dying to write something for sskk for a long time now, and I wanted to do something on the longer side, so I figured I would just start writing and see what happens! I hope you enjoy it :3

Theoretically, everything *should* be fine. Hinata has begun daily check-ups on Komaeda’s new robotic hand, yet the two have barely spoken since waking up. And it’s possible some scars never heal, and maybe that’s okay.

Fukuzawa spit out his tea.
His subordinates were many things, but functional was not one of them.
