This is a continuation from the Ravensong scene collection, but you do not need to have read the previous work to understand this one--although I would suggest having read the actual Heartsong book!
Maren Bennett navigates having the man they called their son back in Green Creek while dealing with strained pack bonds with their twin and nephew, and having (a pretty great) platonic mate when all they'd rather do is honestly just write some music and sleep.

Maren is the twin of Mark Bennett and a Beta of the Bennett pack. They are queer: trans-nonbinary and aromantic, as well as neurodivergent. They are a composer, focusing on mostly instrumentals, as well as an adjunct college professor. And they're as much of a dumbass as the rest of the Bennett pack.

They will not, however, be coming out in order, as most of it is unwritten with only Ravensong being completed (and even then I still will some scenes after another reread) at the time of me writing this. These works, however, can be read in any order.

When Coach Wiebe suggests that Luca Haas should move in with Ilya for a while, as both of them seem lonely, Ilya nearly loses his mind. Not only does this mean he will see Shane even less than before, but it also means that the Centaurs have realised that Ilya's mental health is suffering. The worst part is that when Ilya tells Shane about it, Shane actually supports the idea, saying that it might be good for Ilya and Luca.
Turns out it's the second-best thing that has ever happened to Ilya.
