There's no time to think about all that, though- You've been sent down to someplace called the 'Hadal Blacksite' in search of Z-2, and when you find it you have to bring it back to the people who sent you here.
You fail, and you die.
Then... You wake up.
You return to the Blacksite- and you die again.
And again, and again.

This story is very plot-driven, and a very slow burn. The prologue chapter can be safely skipped in its entirety; it is the only chapter written that way. After a heated argument with Glisten that gets them both in trouble, Shrimpo escapes his time-out room with Finn and finds something he shouldn't have: The Gardenview files.
When he realizes his whole existence is a joke and the few things he was useful for are now gone, he starts to notice some things. About himself, about others, and new opportunities are opened for the once angry shrimp. Some worse than others. Which doors will he open, if at all? Will he take the opportunity to change, or slowly die trying?
