Wide eyed and shaken, Jayce takes up Viktor's hand with his own clammy paw.

The good news? Jayce Talis has finally been accepted onto Piltover Academy's Equestrian Team.

Jayce carefully reached forward and hovered his hand over the pile, other hand clawed and primed to grab or defend against the intruder if needed. He yanked the blankets away in a sudden pull. Nothing could have prepared him for the sight that met him.
Underneath the blankets was a very feral, very naked man, sharp teeth bared and guttural hissing sound aimed at him. The hybrid human sprung up at him, claws raking one good scratch across Jayce’s face before Jayce thought quickly to grab him tight and keep his arms plastered to his sides. What in the hell was going on?
Jayce Talis lives alone in a remote cabin in the woods. He leads a simple, solitary life of day-to-day survival, hunting for food and getting to know the surrounding woods he has learned to love. In the lead up to a winter storm, Jayce catches a new scent he hasn't smelled before and stumbles on something unexpected.

Jayce stopped a few respectful feet away from their circle. He held something in his hand. A single, perfect twilight bloom, its petals a deep, velvety purple that seemed to absorb the firelight. It was a rare flower, one that only grew in high, sunny clearings.
He cleared his throat, the sound a low, nervous rumble. “I... My name is Jayce” he began, his voice slightly hoarse. He extended the flower, a tremble in his large, calloused fingers. “And I would be honored… if you would accept this. And… and my courtship.”
Viktor’s mind went blank. He opened his mouth to politely, gently, refuse. To let this magnificent bull down easy so he could find a mate worthy of him. But the words wouldn’t come. All he could see was the earnest hope in Jayce’s eyes, the nervous tremble in the hand holding the flower. This was was insane. He didn't want this. He has always been better off on his own.

He knew that there was hardly a chance that he would roam but the fact that it was an open possibility irked him more than he cared to admit. He was grappling with a myriad of extraordinary emotions that he didn’t know how to process and, thus, he buckled down into his work; the only solution to turmoil he knew. He had left so many things unsaid and only implied with no idea how to present it without coming off too hot and too strong, perhaps so much so that he might scare Jayce away. The concept of possession was a tough pill to swallow and he wanted to ease his partner into it lest he scare him away forever."
Alternatively: Viktor sees Jayce akin to a dog, so what happens if he were to really act like a dog?
