At the end of his options, Alastor agrees to ensure his mother's survival.

Summary
Alastor lets Vincent catch his breath, as the two stare down at the bloody, mangled body.
“Well,” Alastor says, “the important thing is that you did not overreact.”
And then Vincent turns to look up at Alastor, still sunken on his knees and with spatters of blood like tiny rubies across porcelain white skin.
He is beautiful. He is divine.
“Al-a-stor,” Vincent makes out, as if it’s the first word he has ever spoken. The broken syllables spoken in a whisper— so afraid to shatter this moment between them.
Alastor has made a living off talking, and impressed the masses with his expansive vocabulary and razor-sharp wit, but here, in this moment, with the moonlight breaking into streaks through the tree tops, bathing him in iridescent light, Vincent looks up at Alastor like a disciple to a god— and Alastor is speechless.

Summary

As Lucifer lives in that heated confinement with the enraged Radio Demon, he finds that he is becoming more protective. This troubles him deeply. Vox has always used his cameras to spy on Alastor for his own obsession, but suddenly he is gone and Vox can't see him. He knows the damned angel of Hell is behind this, but Vox already has a plan in mind to trap Alastor for his own.

MIND THE TAGS
Vox deserves everything a successful man in the 1950s should have: the house in the suburbs, the white picket fence, the beautiful wife, the 2.5 (or more) kids.
Alastor, after all he's done to Vox, deserves to be that wife and give him those kids.
In short, Vox mind controls and traps Alastor in a 1950s-esque marriage, and Vox has a breeding kink.
