“Oh really, Zo?” Rumi says groggily. Inwardly she groans, because now Zoey starts talking all about Tortoises, Galapos and Sey-Whatever turtles. Usually she loved listening to Zoey talk to whatever her current obsession was, but not at 7- freaking- AM. Before she even managed to have a single drop of caffeine.
Zoey gets to the base of her head now, where some stubborn hairs refuse to leave the collar of Rumi’s turtleneck. She pulls the collar down slightly, only to still at the light purple marks hidden beneath it.
Alternatively: Zoey accidentally finds out about Rumi's patterns and slowly starts puzzling together the truth, while dealing with her own emotions about it.

Summary
Rumi watched as the figure, adorned in his black hanbok and gat, descended from above like an angel of death. Jinu. There was no mistaking it. It was actually him. It was clear he was in his demon form. She could see the glow of his golden eyes, looking right at her.
“Pray for me now…” The chanting increased. Loud and deep.
This wasn’t right.
Something was wrong.
Abruptly, like a puppet who had its strings cut, Jinu fell to the ground, landing harshly on the stage with a resounding thud.
The crowd screamed.
_________________________________Jinu comes back to Rumi broken. She has to work with friends, family and enemies to help get his soul back before it’s too late, while learning dark secrets about her heritage and the life of the demon boy she loves along the way.

Summary
The aftermath of the Idol Awards leaves Rumi exhausted, but her sorrow over losing Jinu is short-lived when she discovers not all of him is gone.
Rumi has many heart-to-hearts with her friends, gets her demon not-yet-boyfriend back, and starts discovering all the new powers she has due to being half demon and half hunter. But she’s not the only one changing.
Mira and Zoey get used to the new normal with a new Honmoon and what it all means for them as hunters, as well as the new face among them. Jinu seeks to redeem himself in their eyes but the weight of guilt due to his actions is not an easy hurdle to jump.
Their well deserved rest will not last forever. Between the demons stuck on this side of the Honmoon and those trapped on the other, including those Jinu cares about, they must decide what course of action they want to take and deal with whatever consequences it brings.
Gwi-Ma might’ve been banished to the other side of the new Honmoon but he is not one to go down quietly.
(Or in the aftermath of Gwi-Ma’s defeat, Rumi discovers that Jinu’s soul, albeit weak, is still sticking around. She keeps what remains of him safe, causing a ripple effect that will change things for the better.)

Izuku’s past is filled with ghosts.He knows all about what happens in the dark, shadowy dregs of society. As Ghost, a police consultant, it has helped him to solve cases. As Midoriya Izuku, his past is a burden to him, something to ignore. Then he gets into UA and everything in his life seems to decide to not go along with that strategy anymore.
They say ghosts will come back to haunt the living if you don’t deal with them. Turns out that also applies to the people and things from Izuku’s past.
Or: Izuku has a quirk like All For One. Said villain is back at it again with traumatizing children for life. Shouta just desperately wants this kid to trust him.
