and if, let's say, he ever tried to enact said revenge plan (as a joke, obviously. he would NEVER--) he's not worried (because that would be crazy) because his mom would never let him get thrown into arkham! which, at the end of the day; that's all that matters over standard parental affection. promise.

The universe had it out for him today or something. It was probably closer to when school started, so at least that’s an abnormality. He never missed, so maybe it would alert someone to something being wrong? Maybe his parents would answer the school’s call about the absence and do something about it. His parents never cared about his night hobby, and look at him now. Well, it isn’t his parent’s fault; it’s his. He’s a whooping ten-year-old; he should be able to care for himself. Heck, he’s been doing this since he was eight.
It felt like his body was in hell whenever he was dropped onto the floor. Tim thinks he might have even wheezed a bit. His camera was dropped next to him and bounced once, promptly hitting Tim’s nose. His nose was being thoroughly abused today, he thought bitterly.
“What is this?” And that was the Joker. Tim didn’t know what he thought would happen, to be honest, but these people bringing a random kid to the Joker was not it.

Tim shook his head. Took a step back.
No. Nope. No way.
This was not happening.
Or: After Tim dies, his soul remains stuck as a ghost at the Manor. Forced to watch Dick and Bruce grieve him and unable to do anything, the only thing making the afterlife bearable is Jason. Until the day his ghost departs.
Tim assumes that Jason has passed on. But then the Red Hood breaks into the Cave. And for the first time, someone can see Tim.
