Summary
In front of him is an alleyway, one he's walked thousands of times, hundreds of thousands of times. Each life he takes, each cohabitation, the song and dance of firing neurons and synapses, the blinking, chemical lights of love, disgust, hunger, fear; he knows all of these like instinct, ingrained over centuries of lived lives. Then, one day, in the dumpster of a warehouse, the dissected corpse of a boy and the dying body of an unbelievable devil puts him in a situation that changes what it means to be alive.
To exist is to want, and to want is to change...and he suddenly has a craving for toast and jam.
Draft is always 2 chapters ahead at minimum of published chapters.

Summary
Everything took energy. Waking up, eating, talking, and worst of all, working.
No matter how many devils Angel takes down with his new human partner, it never really gets any less exhausting, never really gets anything above boring. But, he starts to notice small things changing as Aki fights and glares and smokes and gets used to him. He starts to notice that his new partner that wears hatred and revenge like an armor actually has something to hide.
When the section of Tokyo Bay in Minato goes sky high, pretenses come down with the debris, leaving only painful revelations to remain standing in the rubble.

Summary
The throb of a heartbeat, the unmistakable feeling of his carotid artery pulsing inside his neck. The blood of his body flows, feeding into the canals and rivers, creeks and rapids that sustain his life. He can't hear it under the tremendous rush of the waterfall covering the cave mouth in front of him, but he can feel it under his skin. His eyes are closed as he breathes and breathes.
Until the curtain covering his hideaway peels away in the dead of night.

Summary
(You don't need to be familiar with Room No. 9 nor Initial D to enjoy this fic, but if you are, as long as you mind the tags, that's more for you to appreciate!)
After the landslide success of Gunma's local racing expedition, Project D, its leader and its dual aces decide to burn the remaining days of their summer together on a trip to Okinawa. It's Ryousuke's last hurrah before diving deep into his residency at university, while his brother, Keisuke, is interested in trying all the bar spots and meeting new people, and Takumi is simply looking forward to his first real vacation that he can remember in a long time. After all, once they've returned, Takumi and Keisuke will be preoccupied responding to recruitment letters.
None of them could know what would be in store for them, and, over a year later, the three men are forced to contend with the consequences of what fate has dealt them. -

Summary
It's been a year since Takumi cheated on his wife with one of his closest friends, a man he'd harbored feelings for for well over a decade. A year since he finally answered the call, weak and weary, and plunged into that deep, dark, forbidden sea, knowing it would change his life forever. Now, he's a new father and a hard-worker, devoted to his work and his family, but reality doesn't work like it does in movies. Trying to make up for your mistakes doesn't guarantee forgiveness. Just because you give your month's earnings to a shrine and ring the bell doesn't mean the gods are obliged to answer. Just because you do everything you can for your family doesn't mean they're obliged to forgive you.
As he stands in the open reception area at Akagi shrine, the June sun high in the sky as his mentor, friend, and one-night lover passes sake and vows to his soon-to-be-wife deeper in the building, Takumi does his best to breathe.

Summary
Takumi glanced down and took his bottle of water. “I’ll be fine,” he said, finally, in some way, admitting out loud that he kind of wasn’t okay.
“Well, you have friends if you want to talk, so don’t ignore them, okay?” Tachibana advised, the cash register dinging as it opened.
Hey, Itsuki. Yeah, I just wanted to talk for a second? Yeah, so, I think I really might like Natsuki, but also I found out she might be sleeping with an old man behind my back the entire time she’s been hanging out with me and kissing me, so I don’t know what to do about it. Oh, and not to mention how I think I want to become a pro racer after I graduate and I have no idea how to make sure I do want that because racing over and over is starting to feel unsatisfying, and I don’t know the first thing about pursuing that career either. And let’s not forget that I think I might be able to look at guys the same way I look at girls because I can’t stop thinking about Ryousuke Takahashi and it freaks me out. Thanks man, good talk!
Yeah, right.
“Sure,” he answered, opening his water bottle. “I’ll get back to work, boss, thanks.”

Summary
A series of vignettes for Arisato and Shiomi Kotone, twin siblings who stumble into a strange reality when they move to Tatsumi Port Island where there exists a hidden hour between Midnight and 1 AM, buried deep in the depths of dusk. They were like two sides of the same coin, linked by shared blood and trauma and their reliance on one another, even if they lived their life in similar, yet different ways. Through the trials and tribulations they endure through their friendships, their relationships, and their fate, Arisato clings tightly to Shiomi's hand as they walk forward together.
Each vignette has its own chapter and will be labeled by the calendar date.

Summary
On the final day of Leofric's stay in the city that had been their home for almost two decades, during a night of chasing the promise of fuzzy, warm relief from the pain of losing their wife, comes a sudden stranger who offers them company, and something else.
* Rated for the series moreso than the contents of the fic itself. This stand-alone fic's content would be closer to T.

Summary
After a drunken decision leads to nearly an entire day of avoidance, Astarion decides that Leofric is his best candidate for securing his protection, both inside and outside of their weird group, and formulates a plan in order to ensure that they like him with the best tool in his arsenal: sex. After a painless attempt at convincing them to sleep with him, they surprise him with a kind offer right before the party to celebrate their triumph over the goblin camp, or, more heroically, celebrate saving a community of innocent people, and Astarion muses over the sort of person they are before spiriting himself away into the woods, leaving a trail for the ranger to follow.
Or, my take on Astarion's first sex scene with my Tav, and my own take on how they would show Astarion how he looked.

A little more than a week after they'd unceremoniously fallen out of a ship with a worm in their brain, Leofric, a wandering mercenary for hire and self-sufficient hunter, marvels at the turn in their life that has lead them from being isolated and alone to being in the constant company of others. After an unpleasant experience in the wetlands, Leofric uses a book to shield their eyes for a quick nap, the title of which catches the interest of their resident undead.

Summary
Looking again at Ashley Graham was like looking at a mermaid over the side of a ship during a voyage so long that he could barely remember what the coastline looked like. He felt delirious, staring at her, like he was overcome with a fever and had begun hallucinating from drinking too much seawater. She was beckoning him down just by being there, tugging harshly at the pit of self-imposed loneliness inside him, and he didn't know, if he jumped off the bow, whether he could swim or not.
Looking again at Leon Kennedy was like watching dawn break over the horizon after spending years in darkness, a glimpse of bright warmth that she didn't even realize she'd been missing. Bright warmth that could flicker out the moment the elevator door opened again, the draft snuffing out that fire and blanketing her back into darkness, into a darkness that would leave her colder than it had found her.
Neither of them wanted that.

Summary
Takumi has been treading water for a long time.
His racing career took him out of his home country to a place across the globe, but it had given him so many new things to experience, things to do, people to meet, races to conquer. He crushed records, married the girl that moved across the world to join him so far from home, and only occasionally felt homesick. He was content with the life he had. Ever since the accident that took racing away from him forever, the distraction and happiness that his job brought him ceased, and he'd been struggling to pull himself back to shore. Now, back in Gunma to celebrate the ten year anniversary of Project D, back in the home that was familiar to him, the places and people that he missed, long-buried feelings for the man that paved the way for his career threaten to come out of the darkness and pull him under, and he wonders if he should keep struggling. If here, under the stars above Akina, he shouldn't just surrender to that part of himself and let it grab him, pull him under into the dark depths he'd buried deep down in his heart.
