During Shepard's OCS/N7 days, s/he bumps into a Hierarchy cadet of roughly the same rank, and they end up friends. Some time later, they meet again at a formal event, now fully-fludged officers (not the Normandy yet), and become somewhat more than friends.
The A!A can leave it there or take it further. Bonus points if s/he's one of Pallin/Sparatus/Victus' kids, for maximum awkwardness.
If A!A does take it further:
- Are the two casual or serious?
- Does one/both get hauled in front of a panel on charges of conspiring with a foreign power?
- Will their peers tease/heckle them for being "traitors" or "tail-chasers?"
- How does s/he take Shepard's death?
- (ME2) Would s/he arrest or kill Shepard if ordered to?
- Does s/he trust Shep enough to leave the Hierarchy and join them against the Reapers?02/12: Updates are fast as hell.

Obi-Wan swallows hard, glancing back over his shoulder. Pull and Minut are doing a wonderful job of not staring at their commanding officers, although Obi-Wan can tell via the Force that they’re aware of the tension at the front of the escape pod. He shudders, stomach cramping, as he feels another wave of lights wink out – only two or three more, a last shot from a parting vulture droid tearing open a capsule. He swallows again, against the bile, shoulders trembling. Cody’s gloved hand comes down firmly, high on his thigh, and Obi-Wan’s commander rumbles low in his ear, “Let me help, cyare. Don’t make me watch you hurting.”
Obi-Wan experiences certain...reactions to loss, an unpleasant feature of his Stewjoni biology. As always, his valiant commander is there to help him through.

Cody really needs to focus on his work.
There are a handful of requisition requests to review, tens of incident reports to file and a hundred more annotations he needs to add to the notes from this morning’s meeting. They have about two hours until they touch down planet-side for their next assignment, and if he’s not efficient about it, some of this current workload will be spilling over into the post-mission paperwork he’ll need to complete after the fact.
All that to say - Cody really needs to focus on his work.
That particular task is something easier said than done though, especially when the Jedi in his lap won’t stop whining.

Summary
Times are changing around the galaxy, but so many still view omegas as weak and lesser. Omega Obi-Wan has tried to hide what he is for most of his life, thanks to prejudice and trauma from his childhood. What Obi-Wan never expected was to find an army of clones, composed of alphas and betas, who view the dynamics in a completely different way than the majority of the galaxy. As time goes on, his relationship with the Vode Pack grows and develops to a point where Obi-Wan starts to find a confidence and pride in being an omega that he’d never thought he’d feel. He also learns that there’s a difference in what the galaxy thinks is alpha and what Alpha really means.
This story comes in at a point where Obi-Wan is just starting to feel safe and comfortable with the Vode. We follow him as his relationship with the troopers starts to evolve, with possible flashbacks giving glimpses into the past, and all building to a future that is far different than Obi-Wan ever expected for himself as an omega.
