Summary
Trevor and Sypha return to the castle only to discover two corpses and a badly burned Alucard. Sypha and Trevor do anything they can to help Alucard repair the damage in the aftermath of devastation, but are they already too late for the reparation of his heart?
Excerpt: There was a moment where they all stared at each other, the shock and despair heavy in the air between them. Alucard looked so small, huddled at the end of the footboard, his chapped, bloody lips were trembling and when he spoke, “Are you- why are you here? What do you want?” it was a broken whisper, muffled by swollen bloodied lips.
Trevor surprised himself by speaking first. “We came back to see you.” he spoke softly and genuinely, wanting Alucard to see the truth in his words. “Hoping to find you in a better state than we’ve been in.”
“And all we want is to help you.” Sypha said just as gently, her blue eyes shining with unshed tears. “If you’ll let us.” She reached out and extended her hand as softly as she had spoken.Bookmarked by MidgetDemon

Summary
