Summary
Having recently escaped a horrific existence within one of London's more dreadful asylums, Briar Eweling is on the run in the chilly English countryside. Hoping to find sympathetic kin in Scotland, Briar seeks desperately to remain out of sight despite the dropping temperatures for even the slightest hint of heat scent will cast her into a mindless, violent, and destructive state in which she cannot control nor remember anything she does. Fortunate enough to find a small empty cottage just before a heavy winter snow, Briar knows she cannot stay long as she can smell that an Omega spends plenty of time here, and soon she'll be back. There are very few options in life for a truly feral Alpha, but Briar couldn't even begin to imagine that her madness might meet its match.
