   Summary

   She thought about Mafuyu's lyrics for the last song — the one they'd just finished, the one Mizuki was editing into an MV right now with Ena's illustrations. Mafuyu had given her words about enclosed spaces. About the strange comfort of a ceiling you couldn't lift. About the way being cared for, deeply and completely, could look from the outside like safety and feel from the inside like a room with no door.

   Kanade assumed those lyrics were about Mafuyu's mother.
