Watching the girl’s movements was like witnessing a train wreck in slow motion. She whirled around enthusiastically, but her foot caught on a bucket, throwing her off balance. In a desperate attempt to stabilize herself, she grabbed for a broomstick, which promptly toppled over. Her last resort for support was me—or more specifically, my tie.
This might have worked, if not for the sudden shift in weight and my lack of readiness, which led us to the position we’re in now: Enid sprawled on the floor with her back against the door, wincing as she rubs her ribs where she must have hit something. She still clutches my tie in one hand, while I straddle her, hands on either side of her, my face barely an inch from hers

Summary
After once again being blacklisted from a normal school, Wednesday Addams is sent to Nevermore Academy - New York City. With a whole city with wonderful rooftops to clamber and explore, a group of 'allies' (no Mother, they are not 'friends'!) that she can't seem to help collecting, and increasing numbers of dissapearances to investigate, she hates to admit it. She might actually be enjoying herself. Now if she could just keep Enid's plushie collection from reaching critical mass and drowning the world in a tide of colourful eldritch abominations.
Of course there are the small matters of a ghoulish urban legend attacking her classmates, interfering police officers, crime scenes to break into, and possibly a cult to track down that Wednesday can work on. New York might actually turn into one of her favourite places after all.

Emboldened by this turn of events, Enid's feelings begin to drift and she has no choice but to bury that down deep. But when Divina opens her big mouth and says what all their friends have been thinking, Enid suddenly had no choice but to confront the obvious and her feelings.

Summary
Summer vacation is coming to an end and Wednesday and Enid have been hopelessly pining for each other the entire break. What Enid does not realise is that Wednesday has been on a mission to court her all summer, and Wednesday Addams is no quitter. The young Addams plans to take her best friend along a ‘Tunnel of Love’ that only she could create, although the journey to get there is anything but smooth.
Their mutual but undisclosed feelings for each other are complicated by the lingering effects of Rotwood's trick, and slowly the pair realise that the consequences of their previous misguided miscommunication has entangled them together in more ways than they realise. Will Wednesday be able to complete her courtship and confess her love to Enid without a hitch? Or will it blow up in her face?
