    Mu Qing never slept well.

    He would go to sleep long after the sun had set, and would rise before a single ray had shown itself over the horizon. His mother would still be asleep when he left, and she would be asleep by the time he got back; sometimes he would crawl in bed next to her and her presence would be enough to soothe him to sleep, but other times he’d lay awake all night, staring at the ceiling until he had to rise again. It was a vicious cycle that left deep bags under his eyes and a yawn in the back of his mouth, but it didn’t matter.

    It would probably catch up with him eventually, but eventually wasn’t now, and now, he needed money.

    “I don’t know why,” Feng Xin started, the rumble of each syllable traveling through his muscles and into Mu Qing’s body. “It is that you would let yourself get talked to shit by a handful of officials who are so irrelevant.”

    Mu Qing’s shoulders rose, his heart thumping and thumping, wracking against the cage of his ribs and scolding him.

    “That is not for you to dwell over.” Mu Qing replied. “I do not argue over comments I know are not true. I can easily handle frauds, I always have, and I will always continue to do so.”

    Mu Qing had known for a while what rumors would swirl in the air about his godhood, he was used to it, so he could ignore it, even if he cared too much—he just didn't think that Feng Xin would care too.

    Eren blinked. His confusion was apparent on his face. The suspicion was still there though, behind those lifeless eyes. He also looked a little constipated, but Levi was used to seeing that look on his face recently.

    "I'm going to ask you a very personal question." Levi said.

    "Okay.." Eren took a sip of his tea.

    Levi took a breath and forced himself to meet Eren's eyes.

    "Do you ever masturbate?" He asked.

    Eren choked. Actually choked on his tea and had to cover his mouth and cough. But his eyes had finally lost that dull, lifeless tone.

    "Excuse me?" His face went red. His long, disheveled hair fell into his eyes.

    OR: Levi overhears some gossip in the Survey Corps kitchens, and concerned that Eren doesn’t know how to release his excess energy (and for the sake of his squad’s sanity), he sets out to discover if the rumors are true.

    Eren and Jean exchange nervous glances but remain silent. Levi’s patience is wearing incredibly thin. “You’ve been sneaking around like a pair of fools for months. Everyone knows what’s going on, given how often you’ve been caught. Frankly, I don’t give a rat’s ass what you do in your free time, but it’s affecting your focus. At the very least, have the decency not to get caught.”

    Or, five times Eren and Jean get caught being more than friends and the one time Captain Levi’s had enough.
