Mu Yuan isn’t exactly sure of what happened. He remembers seeing a large snow leopard cub’s wide pale eyes after Mu Yuan tripped and fell face first in the tall meadow grasses. Thus startled, the cub leaped straight up into the air before landing clumsily on Mu Yuan’s back before scrambling off. He remembers feeling weird, like his head was splitting open. Then his vision went funny and his legs stopped working right.
It was only when he tried to stand up that he noticed he had, well, more legs than he’s used to. The dark rosette on his white fur stand out and make things clear.
