Summary
The Master Sword didn’t hum for him anymore. Not really.
In the quiet moments of the trek through Faron Woods, Wild adjusted his grip on the hilt. Underneath the leather wraps of his gloves, his palms were a mess of weeping blisters and silver-white scarring. It was a rhythmic, searing heat that pulsed in time with his heartbeat. To Wild, it was a constant reminder that the Shrine of Resurrection had brought back the man, but perhaps left the hero behind.
He didn’t hate the sword for it. He figured the blade was just being honest. He wasn’t “hero” enough, and the fire was just the forge trying to reshape him. Fix him.
or
After having his cells literally rebuilt by the Shrine of Resurection, the Master Sword no longer recognizes Wild, burning him whenever he uses it. The Chain find out and a failed attempt at comfort ensues.

Summary
Wild stepped forward and pressed his forehead against the cold stone base. A resonant, low-frequency hum vibrated through the floorboards, felt in the soles of the other Links’ boots. A soft, golden light bled from the statue, coiling around Wild’s chest before vanishing.
Wild exhaled, shook out his shoulders as if shedding a heavy weight, and turned back to the campfire. He froze when he saw the line of faces staring at him.
Legend was the first to find his voice. “Who in the name of the Golden Three were you talking to, Wild? And why did the rock just glow?”
Or
Wild can communicate with Hylia via the Goddess Statues. The chain are flabbergasted.

Summary
Enjin walked several paces ahead, his eyes darting between the horizon and the hulking, clanking nightmare following him. Every time Rudo took a step, his hydraulic joints hissed—a sound like a dying radiator—and the radio in his chest spat out a burst of white noise.
“Stay low, Rudo,” Enjin cautioned, though it was a useless request. You couldn’t hide a seven-foot-tall tower of scrap metal and resentment. “The others... they aren’t going to understand at first. You have to stay calm. No static, okay?”
Rudo didn’t respond with words. He couldn’t. His mind was a storm of jagged impulses. He followed Enjin because the man didn’t smell like the others; didn’t smell like the cold, clinical indifference of the sky-people. He smelled like tobacco, old leather, and a strange, flickering warmth.
But Rudo’s primary focus remained the weight against his chest. He had tightened the copper wiring, the metal biting into the cold, grey flesh of his own corpse. To Rudo, the body was the real him, and this metal cage he inhabited was merely a weapon to keep the real him safe.

Summary
For Rudo, the first few days were a blur of screaming static and the smell of ozone. He had died in a crater, his blood seeping into the thirsty soil, but his hatred had been too heavy to sink. It had curdled, pulling the surrounding waste toward his departing soul like a magnet dragging pieces of iron. He had stood up as a jagged thing of wire and rusted plating, but his mind was fractured. He was a ghost inhabiting a golem, and his only tether to reality was the cold, quiet weight of the boy lying in the dirt beside him.
