Summary
Wylder and Revenant begin to orbit one another when their interest is piqued following a scalding and dangerous expedition to the Crater. In a series of ups and downs, they pursue and retreat from one another under the dark cloud of an unknown and dangerous future. The story expands to engage with the other Nightfarers and the mysteries surrounding a possible timeline of events in the ever-long cycle known as the Night. It begs the question: For what was there, with them all along, if not love?
A series that turned into a cohesive narrative during the Writes 2025 September writing challenge comprised of 30 prompts (from Sweltering to Redamancy and everything in-between).

Returning once more to the past, the Clever One fights to right the wrongs of the god that visited such suffering upon them, and, hopefully, be able to watch the sun rise once more.
