In hell, a couple ages ago. Blood, shark, angel and spider. Alongside other devils, in their varied and grotesque forms, also followed the black blur and the guttural roar of that one engine. To witness in awe, to grant their blood as the followers of Chainsaw Man.
See how it acts in madness, as if it didn't enjoy following the devil instinct. Power didn't know why, but that devil seemed huggable. She forgot about it, but why Beam didn't?
Wait. Why did I become a fiend again?
Or: Power isn't taken for a blood drain and makes a mess out of the Reze arc. Makima should've kept her horns trimmed.

Summary
The Chainsaw Man is making fewer appearances in public nowadays, why is that? Probably because he's too caught up in figuring out what he wants to do with his life to care about killing devils. Sure, killing devils is cool, but what's the point if no one knows it's him? And even if they did, what's stopping them from coming after his heart all over again?
That all changes when he meets a few old friends, and realises that maybe he does know what to do with his life now.

Denji blinks. “Uh. Pochita’s my heart. Pochita- the Chainsaw Devil. He was kinda like my dog?”
At Midoriya’s even more confused face, Denji almost laughs.
After Power and Aki’s death, Denji’s left ambitionless and barely hanging on. But barely hanging on is still hanging on, and because Makima needed him fully broken to take advantage of his contract with Pochita, they’re at a stalemate.
But Denji still does whatever Makima asks of him, even if it makes him ill. When Makima asks him to go to UA High School, Denji agrees.

Something had to have gone horrible wrong when Denji was eating Makima.
He thought he was ending her once and for all, but after eating her heart, Denji felt something growing in his stomach and was forced to spit it back out.
Only for Nayuta, the new Control Devil, to be born with blonde hair. The very same shade of blonde he had.
Denji accidentally becomes a father, and now has to raise his (and Makima's) daughter. It would be his greatest challenge yet.

I love csm with all my soul and the international assassin's arc is no exception. This work is not at all trying to say the arc is bad, infact nor am i saying what I've written here is in anyway superior to the original (far from it). I just had a few ideas in my head for ways to "expand" this arc for a few characters in particular.

The four Horseman of the Apocalypse are War, Death, Famine, and Control. All of which in one way or another leads to immense emotional trauma of human and devil alike. Depression, in the broad sense, is the offspring of such events.
The Depression Devil has been reborn on earth. Completely uninterested in wandering Japan, the first thing they did was turn themselves into Public Safety, content to live out the rest of it's days locked away in a dark cell, alone.
Makima, however, is in charge of Devil Extermination Special Division 4. The very same division Depression has found themselves in.
And so, against its very non-existent will, Depression is forced to do something with their life.

He was too late.
Pochita was able to come back to life, but before he could give his heart to Denji, he was sadly passed.
Denji made him promise to live a normal life in his body if he ever died. Pochita, wanting to fulfil his best friends dying wish, obliged. Thus, the Hero of Hell became the Chainsaw Fiend. Denji wanted him to be able to live a normal life, and have a normal death. This is a journey of a devil wanting to live out his dear friend's dream, and Pochita will do everything in his power to ensure that he will be able to do just that. There will be trials and tribulations, but so did all lives. How will Pochita fare against the bitter reality of the world before him?
It all started by taking that first step.

Summary
