One night, he finds himself missing his best friend and his old life; he invites Sherlock over for a drink and one thing leads to another and they're kissing. There's a smidge of angst and misunderstanding in the middle, but love confessions ensue the following morning and their lives turn out the way they've always been meant to be. Just some lovely fluff.
