Summary
Dan Heng is Dan Feng's closest confidant, his general, and his lover. Clearly these different roles conflict with each other too harshly, if the conversation Dan Feng was currently having with his love was any indicator.

“This one is your general. Your sword.” He repeated firmly. “Your Highness may use me as he pleases for the good of the Empire.” Dan Heng tentatively brought down his Emperor’s hand to his chest, right where his heart beats.
Dan Feng felt his palm burn.
The thumping of his general’s heart was fluttering, like a caged rabbit kicking at its cage. It was strong, it was fast, but most importantly he felt warmth.

Summary
Raised under his careful and distant shizun's care, Dan Heng flourished in ways the Jianghu marveled at—bright, disciplined, and with an endless well of potential. Dan Feng, in his own jade-faced manner, had commented with no less relief, how well he had grown under his tutelage, no doubt proud in the way that only a genius master would be of his own genius disciple. In the deepest corner of his heart where only Dan Heng knows of, a sour feeling kept growing.
Beastiaries, compendiums that detailed flora and fauna outside of what Dan Heng had ever seen, offered whispers of a wider world, a Jianghu that he has yet to explore and maybe a moment's rest for his aching heart.
So under the gaze of the moonlight and the guide of a cold river, Dan Heng gathered his base essentials and a flicker of his courage before slipping away into the night.

Summary
Dan Feng had envisioned a quiet, peaceful evening for himself and his Heng’er that day. They were meant to simply lounge about in their little hut, and nobody was meant to bother them. Dan Feng had warned that rascal Jing Yuan especially against it because he knew that Dan Heng’s straightforward but gentle reminder wouldn’t do it.

Then of course that smug little rascal Jing Yuan had to ruin it by loudly demanding for Dan Feng, then bullying his way into he and Heng’er’s sanctuary when Dan Feng stoutly refused to answer the youth while Dan Heng, his sweet Heng’er who spoiled those he cared for too much, exasperatedly invited him in.

Summary
Charlotte Morningstar, the Antichrist, and Princess of Hell, has a dream bigger than herself. She wants to reform Hell, Sinners and even Heaven itself to be more humane. Just because nature is cruel does not mean they, literal demons, need to be after all. However, her dreams are a little less than ideal as she's just lost her temper on national television because she couldn't handle the sheer amount of questions. Valid questions...And jabs to her character, her sexuality, her parents and more...but valid questions nonetheless.
However, her downtrodden mood is all but repaired when a familiar knock knock pause knock knock comes a calling on her door. Maybe her dreams aren't so lofty with a smile and a bit of showtunes.
