The first time Millicent brought him a so-called ‘gift’, he'd been sleeping. She had placed it next to his head on his pillow, and the smell of it woke him almost immediately. The moment Hux's eyes fell on the dead mouse - resting only an inch from his nose - he'd screamed and twisted away, falling out of his bed.
Many more unpleasant surprises followed after that, but what Millicent caught while out on the balcony one night, however, was arguably worse. So, so much worse.

Heisenberg was like a weighted blanket on top of him; confining yet comforting at the same time. It settled a deep feeling of unease in the pit of Ethan’s stomach, and it was hard resisting the temptation to just wrap his arms around the Lord’s middle and bask in his warmth.
Or, Ethan finds out the hard way what the consequences would have been if he'd tried to stand up during those two seconds after Heisenberg pushed him into a chair and had paused to make sure Ethan didn't try anything funny.
