Summary
Regulus used to pride himself on being a very calm and uninterested person. It helped him survive living in a home where if you even so much as sniffled a Crucio was waiting for you. He managed to close off his emotions and pretend like nothing bothered him for 15 years. Not many people could say the same.
Of course, there came a time he snapped.
He’d been botting up every emotion and unwanted thought he’d had since he was old enough to feel and think. That would drive someone insane.
It did.
His parents were always horrible people. Regulus knew it, Sirius knew it, and the whole Wizarding World knew it. They never really got ‘better’ or ‘worse’ they never even acted like what they were doing was anything other than normal. Sirius usually took the brunt of it, since he was the family’s black sheep, sorted into Gryffindor, friends with a Potter, dated a ‘mudblood.’ It was no surprise when Sirius snapped in his own way.
Sirius left. He packed his things and vanished, moving in with the Potters and leaving his baby brother to fend for himself.
Regulus snapped not long after that.

Summary
What started out as Jay jokingly sexting Tim in a bid to make him laugh (and, in his words, 'get that enormous stick out of his little ass') slowly turns into Tim not only no longer being angry with Jay, but, as they continue to jokingly sext each other whenever the instance arises, slowly starting to consider that a friendship may be blooming between them.
After a while, it's possible that friendship could start to bloom into something even more, and maybe all that joke-sexting doesn't stay such a joke anymore after all.
