Queen Poppy had thought it would be a good, healing idea for the two of them to go visit the old Troll Tree, after being gone for over twenty years, to see that it was okay and that the Bergen were their friends now. She'd extra-triple-promised that they wouldn't get eaten, and that they really should go visit their old stomping grounds. But now, actually standing before it, it not longer seemed like such a good idea.
Viva moved to take a step forward, but hesitated. "Should we be doing this?"
"Probably not."
But nevertheless, they began the journey.

DuBois notices first, probably because he's somehow the least chaotic person amongst them, though that is an admittedly low bar to clear.
He sees the massive, ocean-blue colored handprint glowing softly along Cleo's arm, and his brain goes a bit slow, like it's hit a patch of quicksand.
DuBois' bemused gaze drifts over to Nanaue, finally taking notice of the bright forest-green that's smeared over the shark's huge palms.

It's Rattober! At least on Instagram? Artists and rat owners have been completing daily prompts relating to their furry friends. And I'm not a visual artist and I don't currently own rats... but I did!
This isn't a true 5+1, it's more just vignettes, and they vary in length. I didn't want to make them all individual chapters, most of them aren't long enough to make it worth your while. It's just a silly little collection of the one and only Cleo Cazo exhibiting some rat-like behaviors, but maybe not the one's that would first spring to mind...

Mac’s heart thumped suddenly and he swallowed. He wasn’t sure why he was anxious about doing this. He’d set plenty of bones before, many of them worse injuries than this one. (But, then, none of them had been on Murdoc.)
