Caroline stood before the Boarding house. It looked the same as it did four years ago, when her world wasn't full of supernatural problems, just regular teenage ones. As she entered, the shouting only intensified, and when she greeted, there was only silence left. All of them looked like she remembered, huddled into one corner while what she assumed were The Originals stood in the other. The Salvatores, Elena and Bonnie, Matt, hell, even her mother sat there nursing a glass of Damon's precious bourbon. Her mom, her mom who just four years ago chased her with a gun trained on her heart, broke the silence first. "Caroline? Is...is that really you?" Her mother's eyes brimmed with unshed tears, while the rest looked at her with a mix of confusion and mistrust. She couldn't really blame them, but they were in a time crunch, and they didn't really have time for that shit.
"Caroline Forbes died four years ago. My name is Caroline Gerard," she said with confidence, "and I'm here to help."

When it becomes obvious that there is a serial killer at work, the team utilises Spencer's intelligence to help crack the case. Derek, however, can't help but feel protective over the younger man, especially when the case takes a dangerous turn.
Spencer doesn't want his protection. He's lived his whole life fending for himself and barely just surviving. And yet, he finds that maybe he doesn't mind the fact that someone other than himself cares about his wellbeing.

Of course, Hannibal's version of friendship is a lot more possessive than Quatre may be able to understand. It's okay, though. They're a world apart. What's the worst that could happen?
An epistolary character study (in large part, let's be real I'm not exclusively writing 30 years worth of letters here) of our good murder boys. They meet when they are very young (8/9 and 13/14), and the story covers chapter by chapter roughly six month to one year increments between 1986 and 2016 where they write to one another and their lives intertwine. They are snarky and pretentious and their friendship is the only real thing either of them has to cling to. One day, they will meet, but under what circumstances? Whose design brings them together at last, 20 or 25 years later? This is a VERY slow burn, but burn it shall.

This is not a love story, not a story filled with compassion or humanity, or anything relative synonymous to the word good. It's love in the ugliest sense, so ugly that you wonder if there is beauty in such brute psychological fear, anxiety, terror; there is. This is not consensual, but it does have its tender moments that only Hannibal could dabble in; worthy doting and sweet cooing that shouldn't be there in the first place, yet Hannibal slips in like fog in the midst of the rising moon, taking over and concealing everything it makes contact with. This is dedicated to creepy, sadistic, unrelenting Hannibal. I rarely see him cruel, especially to Will; this is about his cruelty, his capacity for affection and torture all in the same breath.

And this was born. It's lighthearted, a little cracky, and written in the style of short little snapshots into their developing relationship over the course of many months.

He stumbled to his feet and ran to the door. The handle wouldn’t turn, confirming his fears—he was locked inside.
Heart thudding heavily in his chest, Will tried to take deep breaths as a last-ditch effort to prevent from totally panicking. Panicking is the enemy of rational thought. He pressed the palm of his hands into his eyes as he took a second to work things out.
Will started with the basics: he didn’t recognize the room, the room was built to keep whoever is inside from escaping, and he couldn’t remember how he got there. Everything about that situation pointed towards a kidnapping. He pushed the fear to the back of his mind, where it would keep for the moment, and examined the room. All of the furniture was bolted to the ground. He took note of the high-quality, solid wood it was made of. There were no nicks in it and it was stained a tasteful dark brown. At least whoever captured him cares about their belongings, he thought, half amused at the incredulity of it all. A dark voice in the back of his mind echoed back, ‘They probably consider you a belonging as well.’OR
