Chapter 1 is only plot because I wanted to write an epic battle scene (and Qiuyuan yearning all over the place)
Chapter 2 will be Qiushulin action.
There are explicit mentions of unrequited geshuyan and I didn't know how to tag it in a better way.“Ready for more?”
“Always.”, Qiuyuan smiled, wiping the blood off his face, his lip throbbing at the touch. He didn’t mind it at all. His heart was racing, his Forte soaring with a happiness he had never felt before. “I’ve waited far too long for this.”For a split second, he heard Geshu Lin’s Wavelength, jittery as if he had been caught off-guard. But then a hoarse laugh cut through their shared silence.
“I guess we both did.”, Geshu Lin readied himself for battle, lifting his claymore slowly, “Brace yourself. I won’t hold back.”, he smiled, “And I expect you to do the same.”

Summary
Three days after the Battle Beneath the Crescent, Geshu Lin's funeral is held in Jinzhou. As from the Magistrate expected, Jiyan attends but with each further minute, he realizes that this world never truly cared about the very general who saved them at the cost of his life.
Jiyan snaps.
Later, when everything falls silent, a familiar face appears and grants him company.“Do you hate me for leaving the way I did?”
Jiyan didn’t look up, tightly grabbing the soil beneath him for some kind of support. His vision slowly turned blurry. “I could never hate you.”, he hoarsely rasped out.
Geshu Lin stayed silent for far too long.
“And yet I hurt you.”, he finally whispered, “I’m still hurting you right this very moment.”
“No, you…”

For Geshuweek 2025 Day 5: First snow!
A soft, fluffy (slightly angsty) story where Geshu Lin experiences his first snow and Jiyan is ready to show him the ropes. HAPPY ENDING!His heart was pounding so loudly in his chest that he nearly overheard the dull ‘ploff’ when the snowball hit General Geshu Lin’s shoulder, the snow falling to the ground like white rain.
Slowly, the man turned around to him.
Jiyan knew that he had most definitely just signed his death warrant. But tiredness had shut down any rationality of his and most importantly: It was worth it.Jiyan wore his most innocent smile as he put a hand on his hip, confidently meeting his general’s gaze in a silent challenge.

...And soon, Jiyan faces the consequences of his actions.“He was in pain! I did what every medic would have done!”
“But you’re not every medic.”
Abruptly, Geshu Lin grabbed his wrist and with the ease of a claymore user, he hurled Jiyan up to his feet. But he didn’t stop there. Jiyan’s eyes widened when his hands found his neck, pulling him in for a harsh kiss. Jiyan winced as their teeth clacked against each other. Geshu Lin had never been a soft kisser – but this level of aggression was new.

Summary
Slowburn Sickfic where Jiyan gets injured on a mission - badly enough that he needs assistance with his duties as a General. And fortunately, Sanhua knows just the right person for this job. There is just one problem... it's Geshu Lin.

“Oh, does he?”, he drawled out, voice full of venom accumulated over years full resentment, “Bet, he needs me just as much as back in the Battle Beneath the Crescent!”FINISHED. Thank you for everything.
