Eddie’s question visibly confuses Buck, who tilts his head and raises an eyebrow in a voiceless but clear question.
“Your guitar,” Eddie says. He clears his throat and swallows harshly. “Will you play your guitar for me?”
“Yes,” Buck exhales, nodding his head rapidly as he straightens his body like he’s been called to attention. “Of course, yeah, I— Yeah, I can— Should I— Do you want—”
Eddie isn’t quite sure whether bravery or stupidity drives him to say, “Grab your guitar and meet me in my bedroom.”
(or Buck starts learning how to play guitar, and Eddie handles it as well as he can.)

Ohhh, David realises as he gets handed a plate. Okay, I got it. He was surprised that Bobby’s son hadn’t come up when Michael first mentioned his children given how much emphasis he put on the positive co-parenting relationship their family unit strived to maintain. But then again – Buck was obviously much older than Michael and Athena’s two children if he had a child the same age as Harry. The step/co-parenting dynamic would clearly be completely different than it was with May and Harry.
Or,
The one where David is determined to prove that he’s in it with Michael for the long-haul, and that includes accepting and caring about the children of the Grant-Nash household. All 3 of them.
(And Athena and Michael laugh more than they have in months, Bobby is sheepish, and David learns a bit about chosen families).

Buck blinks slowly at him, smiles tentatively, “Um, yeah?”
“Nothing.” Eddie says, quickly, “I was saying hello. And now, goodbye,” he rushes to add, turning around to leave.
(Or, after Buck tells Eddie he loves him while sleeptalking, Eddie does his best to act as nonchalant as possible. He fails spectacularly, of course.)
