Summary
During their first year as Dead Boy Detectives, Edwin takes Charles to the sea side in an attempt to help him get away from a difficult case.
While they are there, they meet a couple and return to see them each year. It is a holiday from the lives, a look into what they could have had, if things had been different, if they weren't frozen at sixteen.
--"I was worried we wouldn't make it this year." Frank said as he stood next to Edwin on the stony beach. In the distance, they watched Marie, Charles and Leo. Frank smoked and Edwin inhaled the smell. It reminded him of his father's study, of conversations he was trying to eavesdrop on. On a time when adults were a thing of myth and mystery.
"There is never any obligation to come, I hope you understand that." Edwin said quietly. I hope you understand that you are changing, and we are staying the same. That your life is full to bursting while we try to fill our days and ignore the passage of time.

They had made it to the surface and that was great. Then again, Sans had thought that a couple times already and it hadn't saved him from waking up with no stars in the end.
After countless resets, Sans finally has a breakdown and leaves town, which isn't exactly surprising. The real question is if he'll let anyone else pick up the pieces.

I've recently been unexpectedly promoted to lead a department in my organisation, wrote the anonymous emailer.
As there was no one working here when I arrived, my manager, who is head of the organisation, had promised me the choice of my own assistants. However, without warning, he simply presented me with an additional assistant. This new assistant’s first act on his first day was to let a dog into the office. It took several hours to catch and clean up after this dog and it has only been downhill from there. I admit I'm not entirely sure what to do with this assistant now I'm stuck with him. I'm hoping you have some advice?
