Till’s chest heaved, and he pulled off his gloves so that his shaking hands could cradle the face, thumbing underneath tired eyes.
This had to be a dream, and he was going to wake up soon–any second now. But time only stretched on, and he was still there in that downpour, hovered over his unconscious body.
“Ivan?” Till squeaked out–a name he hadn’t said aloud in nine years. To anyone else he was always that guy, that brat, that… feeling I didn’t understand until you were gone.

Claps and excited shouting erupted from the audience. It was similar to when Till stepped onto the stage back in the show, the sound of death looming closer as he was forced to sing just so he could survive. It was sickening.
It was even more unbearable that now he had to see the corpse of Ivan being auctioned like he was a mere object.

Till lived post-Round 7 and joined the rebels just to later found out that even after he died, Ivan still suffered the same fate as when he was still alive: being treated as a money-making merchandise.

Reo watches as Chigiri almost chokes on a noodle. After a few coughs and deep inhales, Chigiri sends Reo an incredulous look.
”Where did you get that from?”
Reo shrugs. “It was a bit obvious. Right?”
Nagi nods next to him.
Chigiri squints at them. “You’ve never even seen us interact.” He pauses. “You haven’t even seen Kunigami before, have you?”
”…no,” Reo’s forced to admit. “But I have a sense for these things, you know?”
“You really don’t,” Chigiri mutters.
Nagi opens his mouth. Reo feeds him another sausage while frowning at Chigiri.

reonagi nation in light of recent events i have been choosing to live in delusion so this is my contribution to the collective:
Canon adjacent AU: during the break after the U20 match, everyone stays in Blue Lock but gets 15 days off– ReoNagi has been reunited and their natural 'friendship' is being witnessed for the first time in the wild. No one understands their dynamic, everyone feels slightly insane watching it. (also I made them all in their 20s so I didn't have to write about teenagers so it's a U25 match now. I don't care if that doesn't exist, I want it to so now it does)
lots of possessive!jealous! Nagi because Reo's not mad at him anymore so. he is not letting that man go.

“Stupid Zantetsu. Nagi and I are best friends.” Reo rolled his eyes and ran his fingers through Nagi’s hair from where the man was sitting slumped on his shoulder, eating with his eyes half-closed. Zantetsu pushed his glasses up his nose and looked away but Karasu just stared. “What, like, in the historical sense?”

Kaoru’s face twitches. “How would you know?”
Kojiro’s laugh tapers off. He blinks at Kaoru. “Huh?” he gets out weakly.
“How would you know?” Kaoru repeats, the words slow and deliberate.
Kaoru is close enough that Kojiro can spot the faint smattering of freckles on his cheeks. When did Kaoru get that close?
“Um,” Kojiro says, praying that his voice is not as squeaky as he fears it is. “I, uh… I guess I wouldn’t know.” Kaoru is close and getting closer. Kojiro can feel his palms beginning to sweat. “What… what are you doing?”
“Letting you know,” is the last thing Kaoru murmurs before pulling Kojiro’s face forward and pressing his lips firmly against Kojiro’s.

He had a book open on his propped up knees, and from his position in the doorway Kojiro could just about see his eyes following the words, could see his mouth subtly moving around the words, his pretty, sharp eyebrows drawn together just above his nose. A shoe was tapping on the back of the chair it was resting on, absentminded as he thought, a twin finger tapping the side of the pages.
Kojiro wanted to run his fingers across his fair skin, through his glowing hair, over his bitten lips.
If he did, he knew Kaoru would jump out of skin; there was a very good chance he didn’t know he was stood there — watching, studying — lost in his own world. And he knew, if he did, Kaoru wouldn’t appreciate his love much anyway.

"We heard that you're on your honeymoon!" The waiter with the drinks announces, loud enough that several tables around them can hear. "We just wanted to give our congratulations to the newlyweds. I hope you enjoy your drinks!"
Kaoru and Kojiro lie about being on their honeymoon to get an upgrade on their cruise, and have to face the consequences.

Iwaizumi is just about to turn to the last page when he hears the snap of a shutter. He rolls his eyes; typical Oikawa to take selfies at the most random of times. He turns his head to tell Oikawa not to include him in the shot, when his gaze lands on the phone Oikawa is using.
“Oi!” Iwaizumi exclaims, tossing his magazine aside and lunging for the setter’s hand. “Give me my phone back!”
“Don’t want to, Iwa-chan!” Oikawa leaps out of the way and quickly scrambles up to his feet, running to the other side of the room while still taking a goddamn selfie. “You should be thankful! I’m improving your photo gallery by putting my handsome face in it.”
